To showcase the performance benefits of our sustainable base oils, we have developed several sample formulations. These products are not commercialized! They are there to help showcase what our products are capable off and how our base oils deliver superior performance in actual finished formulations.
To date, we have developed the following finished lubricants:
Biosynthetic Motor Oil is API certified and formulated using advanced additive technology and made from renewable base stocks to help protect your engine AND the environment. It is currently available in 5W-20 and 5W-30. Biosynthetic Motor Oils are recommended for all types of modern vehicles, including high-performance, turbocharged, supercharged, multi-valve and fuel-injected engines that are found in passenger cars, SUVs, light vans and trucks. Our commercially available Passenger Car Motor Oils (PCMO) are available through Amazon and via our website.
Passenger Car Motor Oil
Biosynthetic Technologies sustainable bases oils can be used in the manufacturing of Personal Car Motor Oils (PCMO). Our sustainable base oils can be used as the primary base oil of a lubricant formulation, a component of a base oil co-blend, or even as an additive. To showcase the capabilities of the Biosynthetic Technologies sustainable base oils, we developed a high performance PCMO. This motor oil is approved by the American Petroleum Institute (API) and API SN-RC certified for 5W-20 and 5W-30 gasoline engines. Field testing showed that engines running on Biosynthetic® motor oil had far less varnish, ran cleaner when compared to commercially available mineral oil based motor oil.
