What makes our products so special?
We commercially manufacture a special class of patented molecules called estolides. Estolides have a complex molecular structure that is superior to other base oil classes and have enhanced benefits such as hydrolytic stability, oxidative stability, solvency, biodegradability, viscosity index, and cold temperature properties.
Our biobased base oils are available in a dynamic range of viscosities ranging from ISO VG 22-680 cSt at 40°C. In addition, they’re compatible with other base oils and additives on the market and are an easy choice for formulators aiming for high-performance benefits, fulfilling sustainable regulations, and being eco-compliant.
Biosynthetic® Technologies offers cost-competitive, high-performance, and sustainable base oils suitable as environmentally friendly lubricants. Our patented renewable base oils are biodegradable, non-bioaccumulative, and non-toxic which provides significant advantages to developing sustainable industrial-based formulations. These highly functional biosynthetic oils have numerous uses in many applications and can be used as the primary base oil of a lubricant formulation, a component of a base oil co-blend, or even as an additive.
Additional benefits can be found when using BT’s product line:
